David Tankin, 

David Tankin joined Frost Investment Advisors, LLC, in August 2015 and has over 25 years of investment experience.  He is currently responsible for managing select segregated portfolios and analyzing bank credits.  

Prior to joining the Adviser, David was the Head of Fixed Income for the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) pension plans and Captive Insurance Company.  He was responsible for a multi-billion internally managed fixed income portfolio and allocations to externally managed fixed income managers. David developed enhanced cash strategies given the low yielding environment and liability driven investment (LDI) strategies to hedge the pension’s liabilities.  

Prior to Aramco, David was the Chief Investment Officer and Senior Portfolio Manager for an alternative asset manager, Princeton Advisory Group. He was actively involved in creating customized portfolios that adhered to investment guidelines and rating agency tests. 

David earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Northwestern University. He is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA^®) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
