Mace McCain, chief investment officer at Frost Investment Advisors, spoke to Bloomberg Market’s Paul Sweeney and Kriti Gupta to discuss equities and investing strategies ahead of the Fed’s Jackson Hole Economic Symposium starting on Thursday.
“I think this is Chairman Powell’s chance to try and talk down expectations of a pivot. The expectations that they would pivot and the rally in the market is really working to try and tighten financial conditions, and I think we’re going to get a steady drumbeat from the Fed speakers that we will not be seeing a pivot anytime soon, but instead will be continuing, of course, towards rate increases.” McCain said.
