Alan Adelman

Alan joined Frost Investment Advisors, LLC in 2019 with more than 30 years of investment experience.

Alan’s primary responsibility is the adviser’s equity strategies, where he manages stock selection, sector allocation and portfolio construction.

His 30 years of experience includes 25 years of senior leadership roles for global financial leaders such as chief investment officer for First Interstate Bank of California, First Union Bank and Wells Fargo Offshore Trust Company. Separately, Alan served as chief investment strategist for Wells Fargo’s Private Client Group and was an executive vice president of Wells Fargo Bank.

Prior to joining the adviser, he was the senior managing director with Angeles Investment Advisors, a highly regarded institutional outsourced chief investment officer firm, serving fiduciary investors globally. Alan joined Angeles from the investment boutique Cinque Partners LLC, a registered investment adviser specializing in hedged equity strategies, where he was a co-founder, managing partner and chief investment officer.

Alan is dedicated to community service leadership. He currently serves on the Investment and Finance committees of The Sisters of Charity of The Incarnate Word San Antonio. Alan is also on the Investment Committee of the Lighthouse for the Blind and Vision Impaired San Antonio as well as the Investment Committee of Communities In Schools of San Antonio. He also serves as Chairman of the Nominating Committee for the San Antonio Business and Economic Society.

Alan is also a long-standing board member of Heart of Los Angeles serving at-risk youths in central Los Angeles. He is on the board of visitors of the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. Alan earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions at Arizona State University in Tempe.
