Brandon Smith, 

Brandon joined Frost Investment Advisors, LLC in February 2025 as an investment research analyst.

He is primarily responsible for investment manager due diligence, working with various investment teams within Frost and externally to ensure each relationship has the investment options and strategies they need, whether proprietary or third-party manager. Brandon functions as a gatekeeper for the approved lists of mutual funds, ETFs, money market funds and offshore funds. Additionally, Brandon is responsible for asset allocation optimization along with model portfolio creation, management, and trading.
 
Prior to joining the adviser, Brandon worked at Capital Group for 10 years as a portfolio consultant, private markets analyst and investment operations analyst. He previously worked as a financial services advisory analyst at Ernst & Young for two years.  
 
Brandon received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management degree with an emphasis in finance from Brigham Young University. He also holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation and is a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute.
