Duane Pettis 

Duane joined Frost Investment Advisors, LLC, in December 2021 as an investment research analyst.  

Duane brings over 8 years of investment experience. He is primarily responsible for investment manager due diligence, working with various investment teams within Frost and externally to ensure each relationship has the investment options and strategies they need, whether proprietary or third party manager.  Duane functions as a gatekeeper for the approved lists of mutual funds, ETFs, money market funds, and off-shore funds.  Additionally, Duane is responsible for asset allocation optimization along with model portfolio creation, management, and trading.

Prior to joining the Adviser, Duane was an analyst for Frost Wealth Advisors for a year. Prior to his time at Frost, he worked as an economist at the Texas Workforce Commission. He was also an investment analyst for Vantage Research for six years.

Duane earned a Master of Science degree in financial engineering from Temple University and a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the University of Central Florida.
